Our relationship began at the University of Missouri. On our first date, we spent more than three hours swapping stories—so much so, we both missed a class! After studying for four years we decided to pursue our careers and see what God had in store for our relationship.

More than 5 years of long distance and four moves later, we’ve burned a lot of rubber and racked up countless airline miles between Charlotte, North Carolina; Lexington, Kentucky, and Nashville, Tennessee. During the past 7.5 years, we grew in our careers, as individuals, and became true teammates thanks to FaceTime—an app we wish we could invest in! After years of patience, prayer, and countless life conversations, we’re ecstatic to finally merge our lives together in Charlotte and return to our Midwest roots for our wedding celebration!

With the nature of a long-distance relationship at the time, surprising Claire was no small task! Daniel proposed in November 2022 at their alma mater surrounded by family on their first trip back to their college town together! 

We love hiking, golfing, traveling, listening to live music, being foodies, hosting dinner parties, and hunting down the next best bourbon!

We are overwhelmed with the thought of spending time with our nearest and dearest all in one place on June 8, 2024!
